Briard Overview

The Briard is generally a healthy breed, but may be prone to PRA, hip dysplasia andcataracts.
Briard Coat
This dog breed has a long double coat. The outer coat of the Briard is almost goat-like. The hair is slightly wavy and dry and harsh to the touch. This breed has long hair covering the eyes that owners usually pin up. The dog has a distinctive beard, mustache and eyebrows. Briard Training

Bull Terrier Overview
This dog breed is essentially a cross between the Bulldog and the Old English Terrier, but there is a bit of Spanish Pointer in the bloodline. The Bull Terrier breed originated in 1830 and was bred to attack bulls in combat sports. By 1850 they had been replaced by the White Cavalier and have since been used for a variety of purposes, including guard dogs, ratters, herders and watchdogs. The Bull Terrier excels at all these disciplines.
Bull Terrier Characteristics
This is a lively dog breed that tends to be lazy and quiet at times. The Bull Terrier is extremely muscular, powerful and sturdy. This breed has a very sweet nature and is very affectionate. The Bull Terrier requires an experienced handler. Without the correct training and socialization, they tend to be somewhat dominant. This is a very polite and naturally obedient breed that thrives on human attention.
Bull Terrier Temperament
Fiery, lively and loving, the Bull Terrier is also extremely protective of their owner and territory. This breed has a fearless and intimidating presence and makes an excellent watch and guard dog. The Bull Terrier is very hardy and sturdy. This breed is very tolerant of children, but should always be supervised, as they can be snippy if overly pestered. With proper socialization and training, the Bull Terrier gets along well with other dogs.
Bull Terrier Care
This dog breed does not require much grooming. An occasional brush with a rubber brush is normally sufficient for the Bull Terrier. This breed is an average seasonal shedder and sheds twice a year.

The coat of the Bull Terrier is short, flat, harsh and somewhat coarse in texture. The hair of this breed is glossy and close to the body. The skin of the Bull Terrier is taught, never wrinkly or saggy. The short coat makes grooming very simple, but the Bull Terrier necessitates protection from the cold.

Bulldog Overview
