Toys are extremely important, not only to exercise your puppy, but they also stimulate the brain. Plus, playing with your pup fortifies their bond with you. It’s essential that the balls you give your puppy are too large to swallow. Toys that squeak are a great choice because they will keep your doggie amused all on their own.

Remember, as your puppy grows, he or she will start teething. That’s why it’s important to invest in some high quality chew toys. Quality is important. Poor quality chew toys can fall apart and become a hazard to your puppy’s health.

When you play with your puppy, the most essential thing is to be happy and engaged. Remember, play time is bonding time with your pup. If you’re playing full-out, they will too.

Food and water bowls for your puppy’s nutrition

Don’t buy cheap water and food bowls becuase they easily. Also, avoid plastic ones. There have been cases where plastic bowls have made puppies eyes water.

Some pups are sloppy eaters so it’s a good idea to place a mat under the bowl.

Playtime is vital for your puppy

If you live in an apartment, you’ll need to take your puppy to a park or other public, open area to play. If you don’t have a park close by, neighborhood walks are the next best thing. Remember, puppies need exercise regularly in order to stay healthy and maintain good temperament. Daily exercise is essential.

Keeping your puppy clean

A grooming brush is important to keep your puppy clean. Your dog will shed more (or less) at different times of the year. If you brush regularly, there’ll be a lot less hair to clean up in your house. When bathing your pup it’s important to keep them calm.

Introduce your puppy to other pets

It’s very important if you have multiple pets that you introduce your new puppy a quickly as possible. If you familiarize your pets at a young age, they will be more likely to get along with them in the future. However, if you don’t, bad relationships can develop between your puppy and your other pets. Don’t force your new puppy on your other pets. It’s far better to let them develop a relationship in their own time.
